Why can’t I get a little respect for what I try to do rather than criticism and made to feel that I am so inadequate..........simple question

not in a great place
In a kind of a funk................BOE is insane, I sepnt 6 weeks putting together a mediocre show....now onto Christmas which I am REALLY not int he mood for.
I need time and the ability to do nothing or whatever I want........
some other time, I guess.
